It was January when I got myself and my three months old baby in the car and drove to Delft for a styled shoot by Holly Marder/Avenue Lifestyle and Anouschka Rokebrand, to deliver some calligraphy pieces and finally meet Holly, with who I’d been emailing back and forth for a while, in person.
Walking through rainy and cold Delft with a tiny baby was somewhat comforting; the historical town dripping wet and me looking through the rain cover of the stroller at my tiny human. I thought it was rather special.
But anyways, I got to the Prinsenhof, which was the venue of the day. What an incredibly beautiful location to have a rainy-day event at. It is light and spacious and still cozy in a way.
It was fun to meet Holly and have a little chat. I then fed my baby, left my calligraphy and went back home again. It was my first day of work outside the house since Eliza was born. I was exhausted but satisfied.
Here are a couple of photos from the shoot, which also got published by the magnificent Magnolia Rouge wedding blog.
